Why you should consider NSURE

  • Competitive bench lab training under the mentorship of a senior researcher and their lab.
  • Low commitment! Train in an R1 laboratory in little as nine weeks. Program dates: May 20 – July 19, 2024.

Application deadline: Mar 15, 2024. Decisions will be announced in April. 

Who can apply

  1. All participants must:
  2. be a US citizen or permanent resident
  3. have at least one (1) semester of study remaining after program completion (i.e., undergraduates who have been awarded a degree are ineligible)
  4. be at least 18 years of age
  5. NOT intend on pursuing medical school
