The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience in Neuroscience (NSURE) is an NIH-funding training program designed to provide an immersive biomedical research experience for the next generation of underrepresented students in the biomedical sciences. The aim of the program is to train students in lab experimentation through the execution of an interdisciplinary research project. Students receive ongoing mentorship from university faculty in addition to science communication and professional development training.
